Tysoe Annual Strawberry Tea

About 50 people attended the annual strawberry tea at Tysoe chapel on 22 July. The hall was full with friends enjoying the scones, jam, cream and cakes and of course fresh strawberries with meringues. Helpers and visitors came from across the circuit. There was almost an unexpected visitor when a passing horse got skittish at the sight of the circuit flags, which waved in the breeze! It had been hoped that tables and chairs would be outside but some showers brought everyone closer together. The refreshments and a sales stall raised £300, which was more than the previous year.
