How South Warwickshire Circuit Complies with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

South Warwickshire Circuit takes seriously its responsibilities under GDPR.

Within the Methodist Church, there are two Data Controllers (entities which control the collection and use of personal data); these are:

• Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes (TMCP) who is the controller for routine, day to day data protection matters for Methodist Local Churches, Circuits and Districts
• Methodist Church in Great Britain who is the controller for matters relating to safeguarding or complaints and discipline for Methodist Local Churches, Circuits and Districts

Each Local Church, Circuit and District acts as a Data Processor (entities who process the personal data under agreement with the data controller and in accordance with their policies).

The South Warwickshire Circuit is just such a data processor.
