Inter Church Walks

As part of our preparations for becoming the new South Warwickshire Circuit of 17 churches, we decided to embark on a journey around these churches. There are 10 walks which will encompass all the churches in the new Circuit.

They take place on the Saturdays and Sundays in June with the final three being set to coincide with significant services in the lives of Mid Warwickshire Circuit, Stratford and Evesham Circuit and South Warwickshire Circuit — which will be 'born' on 1st September 2019. These final dates are Saturday 13th July — Kenilworth to Warwick — the day before the closing Service for Mid Warwickshire Circuit ; Saturday 20th July, — Henley in Arden to Stratford upon Avon — the day before the closing Service for Stratford and Evesham Circuit; and Saturday 7th September, — Wellesbourne to Stratford upon Avon — the day before the opening Service for South Warwickshire Circuit.

At each church on the walk, a short time of worship is held, with readings and prayers for the church and circuit. Click here the Inter-Church Walks booklet

We encourage congregations to 'walk without walking' — to join in with the times of worship — at the church or in their own home. This allows those who have limited time or mobility the opportunity to be part of this Circuit-wide venture.
