Mickleton Methodist Church

Situated in the centre of the charming village of Mickleton, the church has links which go back to John Wesley himself who preached in the church of a neighbouring village — Quinton in 1743 ('to a thin dull congregation'!) as well as in other villages close by. The foundation stone of the present church was laid in 1891.

Opportunities for Worship and fellowship

Sunday morning worship takes place weekly at 10.30 am; visitors are always assured of a warm welcome.

Messy Church is a new venture and takes place from 4.00 pm-5.30 pm in the adjacent Joseph Webb Hall on the first Sunday of each month.

We have a midweek fellowship on Thursdays from 2:30 pm — 4:00 pm in the Joseph Webb Hall. Feel free to come and join us for one, or any of our sessions; you will be most welcome!
For further details please contact Mrs Sonia Boulton (see below for contact details).

Open House Bible Discussion - friendly inter-denominational bible-based discussions on the second Wednesday every month beginning at 10.30 in the Joseph Webb Hall.

Mickleton is a Silver Award EcoChurch

Changing all our light-bulbs, buying 100% renewable electricity, recycling old mobile phones, used computer cartridges, and spectacles for Africa amongst other things, as well as developing the Three Bees Community Wildlife Garden have all contributed to our Silver Award received in August 2019.

Mickleton Methodist is a Fairtrade church
Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. A wide range of products is available in the vestibule of the church. You are welcome to come and buy!
